VOYAGE TO CYTHERA

Cythera is the imaginary island of love, as claimed in the myth of Aphrodite by Isiodus and later in paintings and poems by artists like Jean - Antoine Watteau and Charles Baudelaire. Until today, the Voyage to Cythera has become equal to the journey to utopia. ​These pictures were taken while I was traveling through Europe, trying to know more about the world around me and my inner self. However, I was about to learn that this journey has no end and Cythera is never to be found.
